 Comedian Subi Suresh passed away in Kochi. Reportedly, she was suffering from liver-related ailment.

Comedian and TV host , Subi Suresh passed away. Reportedly, the 41-year-old was suffering from a liver-related ailment. She breathed her last at a private hospital in Kochi this morning (February 22).

Subi Suresh became a household name for her hilarious characters in the evergreen comedy show, '

Cinemala'. After the show, she has been active both in movies and Tv shows. Lastly, she was seen in the kids' show, 'Kutty Pattalam'.

By making her debut through television programmes, Subi Suresh made quite a mark as a comedian. She also excelled as an actor in the Malayalam film industry.

She started her career through Cochin Kalabhavan. She was also a well-known stage comedy show performer.

Her career as a TV anchor started with the famous Malayalam comedy show 'Cinemala' on Asianet. She became a well-known face among Malayalis after hosting a show for kids called 'Kuttipattalam' on Surya TV.

She made her film debut in the 2006 film 'Kanaka Simhasanam', directed by Rajasenan. In the later years, she featured in several movies like Happy Husbands, Elsamma Enna Aankutty among others.

Born in Thripunithura in Ernakulam, she was active in school and college events and competitions.
Suby is survived by her parents and brother.
