      मन शांत हैं कि उदास ?

चुप जैसे रात के अंधेरे सा 

झलकता हैं आंख के नीचे काले घेरे सा 

 कल्पना भी जैसे धूल में खोई 

 जागता मैं पर मेरी ऊर्जा हैं सोई

उद्देश्य की खबर हैं

पर कर्म बनी हैं जैसे लाश

बताइए मेरा मन शांत हैं या उदास ?

पथ पर जाता हूँ अकेला 

इस बीच में खामोशियो से भी खेला ।

यूँ ही रोज करता सफर

पर आज सुर्य की रोशनी गिरी आंसू बनकर 

जी रहा हूँ आज मैं 

पर रूकी हैं जैसे साँस

बताइए मेरा मन शांत हैं या उदास ?

जग की रीती जान पाने में असमर्थ

मुझे समझ नही आता इसका अर्थ 

 जिंदगी होती जा रही छोटी 

 बेचैन जैसे छिन रहा कोई मेरी रोटी 

मन में सुक्ष्म विचार घूमते 

जैसे मन में समाया विस्तृत आकाश 

बताइए मेरा मन शांत हैं या उदास ?

English Translation of the Above Poem

         Mind Calm or Sad

as silent as the darkness of the night

Looks like dark circles under the eyes

 Imagination also like lost in the dust

 I wake up but my energy is asleep

news of purpose

But karma is made like a corpse

Tell me is my mind calm or sad?

walk the road alone

In the meantime also played silently.

travel everyday

But today the light of the sun fell as a tear

i am living today

but stopped like breathing

Tell me is my mind calm or sad?

Unable to know the way of the world

I don't understand what it means

 life is getting shorter

 restless like someone is snatching my bread

fine thoughts roaming in the mind

Like the wide sky covered in my mind

Tell me is my mind calm or sad?
